What is Origence Connect?

Origence Connect is a portal built by Origence to centralize their APIs onto one platform. Within Origence Connect, you can discover our APIs, build integrations and test them before launching to market.

Is Origence Connect secure?

Origence Connect is designed to meet or exceed industry standards and uses many different controls to keep your personal information safe. To ensure a secure account connection, Origence Connect uses a multi-factor authentication. Our products are built on secure cloud infrastructure. We make it easy for you to control who has access to your data. You can learn more about it by reading our Privacy Policy.

How do I get started?

It’s easy! Get started by creating an account using the Sign Up page in Origence Connect.

Do I need to be a registered user in order to try out your APIs?

Yes, an active account and an Origence product subscription is required to try out the APIs available for the product you have subscribed to. You can try out the API directly in Origence Connect. It’s designed to mimic a real run as closely as possible so you can test your API integration.

Why can’t I sign in to my account?

If you can’t sign in to your account, you can reset your password. Click “Reset Password” and confirm the email address used to register for Origence Connect.

Can I find all Origence products on Origence Connect?

Not all Origence products are available on Origence Connect at this time. Please contact your Origence representative to inquire on additional products Origence has to offer that best meets your business needs.

Can I get help if I don’t have an Origence Connect account?

There is an API I would like to use but cannot find it on the portal.

Make sure to look for the API on our APIs page. If you can’t find the API, reach out to our Support team and we’ll be happy to assist you.

How long does it take for my subscription request to become active after creation?

Origence's Service Level Agreement (SLA) for setting up product subscriptions is within 5 business days from the time of acknowledgment.

Is it possible to create multiple product subscriptions?

Yes. You can request multiple subscriptions across products.

Why am I getting failed API calls?

Failed API calls can occur due to various reasons such as incorrect authentication credentials, invalid request parameters, invalid data, or can be caused by server errors.

Can I subscribe to webhook events?

Yes, our lenders and partners will have access to our library of APIs and webhooks. Instead of making an API call each time a loan event occurs, arc OS can send an HTTP request to a securely configured endpoint automatically. Webhooks are more scalable than regularly polling for changes, particularly when keeping track of a large pipeline of loans.

How can I troubleshoot failed or blocked API requests?

First, double-check your API documentation to ensure you are using the correct endpoint URLs, request methods, headers, and parameters. Verify that your authentication credentials are valid. Second, check the error messages returned by the API. These messages often provide valuable insights into the cause of the failure. Review your code and API integration to identify any potential issues such as incorrect request formatting or missing required parameters. Please contact support if the problem persists.
